The Perigee riser covers secure via tuck tabs. These stay closed yet are placed low enough as to have no effect on canopy deployment heading. The are integrated with the top flap creating a uniform and smooth contour from the back to the shoulders. The unique design protects the risers during climbing or packing yet still allows exit point gear checks.

Also, the lower "mudflap" portion makes it possible to place a full size hook knife in the rig for easy access. It is recommended to jump with a hook knife when using a slider. Many slider related malfunctions can be solved with a hook knife if altitude permits.

Additionaly, the Perigees all feature a convienent storage pocket on the back of the mud flap that can hold extra rubber bands, Tail Gate, etc.
